For children ages 6 to 8
Children age six to eight will keep track of each half-hour they read. Keep track of your reading on our bookmark.
Each week, a new bookmark will be available with spaces to keep track of your reading, a bonus question and a bonus activity. Each half-hour of reading earns a raffle ticket, plus each bonus you complete earns another raffle ticket. Each week there will be a prize drawing on Saturday, so get your tickets into the drawing by Saturday afternoon at Plymouth (for Manomet, turn your raffle tickets in by closing on Thursday night to make the Friday morning delivery).

Lynx Club weekly meetings
Come each week for fun activities and crafts related to the weekly theme. Register for the time that works best for your family, 2:00p.m. or 3:00p.m. on Tuesdays at the Main Library. Space will be limited in each session. Lynx Club at the Manomet Branch is on Mondays at 2:00 p.m. Registration begins two weeks in advance of each program.
Manomet Pet Show
Bring your pet, real or stuffed, to our annual pet show at the Manomet Branch. Pet participants must be well behaved and have a permission slip on file before the show. We will be outside, if weather permits, so please keep your pets on leashes or in carriers. This program is for all ages and registration is required. Registration will begin July 24th. Permission slips will also be available starting on this date.
Manomet Skulls!
Jude Colt returns to the library in August with her collection of animal skulls. Children ages 6 to 12 will learn about different animals in this hands-on presentation. Skulls will take place at the Manomet Branch Library on Saturday, August 9th at 10:30. Registration is necessary and begins July 26th at the Manomet Branch.
