For children ages 3 to 5
Younger children can participate in the summer reading program, too! Fill out our registration form and pick up a tracking sheet. You can earn great summer reading prizes by reading and coming to library programs.
Keep track of how long you read! You can count the time you spend reading on your own, time that someone spends reading with you, and time you spend listening to a book on cassette or CD. For each 20 minutes spent reading, color in a paw print on your tracking sheet. You will get one raffle ticket for each paw print you have colored in, when you bring your tracking sheet into the library. Earn extra raffle tickets by doing the bonus activities. Each activity is worth one raffle ticket.

Cubs Club weekly meetings
The Cubs Club meets on Tuesdays at the Main Library, with two times to choose from. The first session begins at 10:15 a.m. and the second begins at 11:15 a.m. Both session will last for a half hour and have the same projects. Please register for the time that is best for your family; space will be limited in both sessions. At Manomet, the Cubs will meet at 9:30 a.m. on Thursdays. Registration for all club meetings begins two weeks in advance; it will be necessary to sign up for each meeting. Please note that on Tuesday, July 15th and Tuesday, July 29th, the Cubs Club will not meet, as special guests Big Ryan and Ronald McDonald will be visiting.
Manomet Pet Show
Bring your pet, real or stuffed, to our annual pet show at the Manomet Branch. Pet participants must be well behaved and have a permission slip on file before the show. We will be outside, if weather permits, so please keep your pets on leashes or in carriers. This program is for all ages and registration is required. Registration will begin July 24th. Permission slips will also be available starting on this date.
